cool interview !! Props for getting this interview ..I been wanting to hear from these cats for a minute .. Im just curious about what knowledge they have
about Rubberband... You did Title it as "pioneers who rocked with rubberband" , but in the clips of the interview they only talked about Lil Daves
history and nothing about RB ... Or at least Joe did ... chuck didnt seem to say too much ... Did they mention him or his style of dancing or anything
regarding him ?? i'm not trying to starta debate or argue, Just curious ... So far the only person who's really described RB's Dancing and history
is Blackie and it sounds like they ran with Blackie unless they were talking about another cat named Blackie ... ???

This was a little part of a interview. More was said but the rest of it will be in a project that's coming out soon. If you notice that many who talk about
the first generation rockers don't know these brothers and if they did why isn't they had put this story out along time ago. I knows of these brothers
and dance with many of them. You have many who claim they know the history and this will prove all those who was not there and those who lie around the world.
Many who don't know them, I wouldn't say that they aren't old school but when you have those who are mad at me for bringing the true about bushwick
OG rockers and saying that I'm a liar should get they facts first. I feel that anyone and every one who learns this dance should just listen to every one
part and then go out and help keep this dance form alive. Its gets out of hands when you have those who talk trash and get some one to go out and snuff new
generation rockers because they are trying to keep this dance alive. If this is a message to me then why isn't those come to me. Many from other country
are not going to be part of this culture if many are going to bring any voilence. If those want any beef then let me know because I have many of those OG
brothers who are real gangster who rock will like for those to try that to them. Let keep the peace. I'm sorry for those who has to read this but the shit
has to stop. If you can't keep this on the dance floor then find another hobby.

DEEP DEEP DEEP !!!
These guys were right on point they mention some clubs that I had expirience and they have a dance style of rockers that rock durring my time and that today I still use when doing this rock dance ..they also mention the part of being young lads and not thinking of what was going on across new york because they stood around the neighborhood as I once said the bronx manhattan queens and any of the other boroughs was never my intrest when it came to rocking because I couldn't leave the block without permission from my parents ..... leaving bushwick to rock never cross my mind unless it was to redhook or east new york in a sneak point and another point they brought out that made alot of sense it's what everyone argue about today ( who invented rock and where did it started ) and I thnak them for there honest respond which it had always been my respond to that question (( no one will never know !!! ))) I think that I can relate to these two individual and mention names to them that would freshen up there mind and also mine great interview and thank you for your honesty JOE and CHUCK!! and a shout out to tiny and KR .... This guys are for real ....real Bushwick troopers from the early 70's I really enjoy listening to them !! and adding to this interview on what was my expression about the whole thing and what I understood from there prespective to mine ... My name is Buz from the crew touch of rock I saw the dance for the first time in 1969 in this night center at a school call ps.19 on keap st between south 2nd and south 3rd in Williamsburgh brooklyn NY.. than again at this wrestling event that was put in this open lot on hooper street and south 5th st.. where I saw chief jay strombol and sanaca wrestling i think that's how there name was spelled ..lol.. anyway never really put any mind to it but I do remember the two guys I saw rocking and that was Freaky Freddy aka TAG ONE and afro both were wearing these club sweaters by the name of the GENTS ... I saw them battle against other crews like the ex50's , the Dukes , bt express and the soul stone brothers..SSB.. which gave me the idea to bring out a crew with my boy Cus 108 when I moved to Bushwick in 1974 where I saw rocking again and decided to learn the dance after going to a couple of church hall dances with my sister.. so in 1975 my boy cus brought out a crew call KNIGHT BREAKERS it was a mix of rocking hanging out and breaking nights hanging out in the parks like linden park knickerbocker park and bushwick park drinking beer and smoking mafu ( weed ) lol and watching the sun rise.. In the mid 1976 my boy Cus and I decided to change the name of the crew to TOUCH OF ROCK because we wanted it to be a strictly rocking crew along with fancy vest and letters , junior rockers and also lady rockers and than added a dj crew with it by the name of Majestic Disco Sounds..lol...people can say what they want to say and they can also change the history if they want but IN my heart I know what went down durring the mid 70's in bushwick and many other rockers also know and also the crews that came out after we had started this rocking crew mania that everyone decided to be a part of it which today is something that everyone talks about and are reliving it with the help of some OG rockers from that era that are today spreading the history and my respect to everyone of them ..... so with this piece of history I go back to the question how did rocking started... the answer is I DON'T KNOW as long as I been rocking I can not answer that question and I honestly believe that no one can answer that question is just like saying who invented the wop , and the bustop !! who in the world knows the main thing is that I can say is ... That I thanks God for giving me the chance to be a part of that era where rocking was inafect I don't need to make up stories about rocking in the 70's because I lived it and what I say is only what I expirience and how it came and where it came from and who was there were all friends of mine that had shared this wonderful expirience with me there are many today that have done an awesome job spreading this history and they know who they are so I don't need to mention any name because we all know who they are and are still going out of there way spreading the dance all over the country and the world and also getting the new generation involve who are also spreading the dance rock to the next level and I also thank them also ..... so lets enjoy this moment that will also be called history 30 years from now just like the history that I was part of 30 years ago..... much love and respect BUZ TOUCH OF ROCK touch-of-rock@hotmail.com myspace.com/touchofrockbk

Cool interview! I especially like the references Joe and Chuck made about the old film clips that were mentioned like the Lindy Hoppers and Fred Astaire in
"Top Hat". All so called "Hip Hop" dance forms have deeper roots that need to be explored. The Fred Astaire clip definitely has the concept
of burns used in Rockin'. Thanks for pointing that out Joe.

Yes Double Tee, they are talking about the same Blackie and they do go more in depth about RB. I personally know brothers who also got history with RB and his
dancing but don't expect to see them on video... it's not gonna happen. I try to share their info when I can or when cats are lucky enough to be out
here and in their presence to get a history treat. King Uprock is doing his thing and this project is sure to be very informative on it's own. Keep in
mind that y'all are seeing just clips at this time.
That Fred Astaire clip on on the money! One

Thanks P J for your shout out. You know that I have ONLY work on giving the true about Brooklyn rocking. My goals was to get every one in Brooklyn to rock and
share each others side of the story. This is not to dis the Bronx, Manhattan or Queens. But like always you have some who are jealous and didn't give a
shit about this rock dance and now that it came back to the seen and has stab me in the back. Its funny that those who try to mess up relationship with each
others has fail. United Brooklyn rockers that I put together was for those who rock can rep their crew. In the past we felt that we was better then other crew
who rock. But today we have grown and need to support and leave the negativity behind. We are all good rockers who rep Brooklyn. For those who are not part of
the United Brooklyn rockers has lost a great thing in rep Brooklyn. For your action against me in keeping this alive. Will be alone. You go and lie on the net
or go around the world with fake rockers who now change there story to act like if they was there. What I'm working on will be the biggest thing for the
rock dance. For those who are interested in rocking. Needs to see who is who. Many are trying to make some money of a history that they was there. Even with
that there is no brotherhood or respect for those who fought to keep this alive. I have brothers of the first generation who has respected my time and skills
in keeping this art form alive.
